The SEE | EU Cluster of Excellence Scholarships finance research stays for professors and Ph.D. candidates from Germany to partner faculties from South Eastern Europe and from SEE to the Europa-Institut of Saarland University. The scholarship aims to encourage academic research as well as enable academic exchange in European and International Law between SEE and Germany.
Ph.D. candidates and professors (assistant professors, associate professors, full professors) from partner institutions are encouraged and welcome to apply for the SEE | EU Cluster of Excellence Scholarship and if selected, conduct a research stay at the Europa-Institut (if coming from SEE) or in SEE (if coming from Germany).
Scholarships encompass lump sums for accommodation costs as well as lump sums for travel costs, varying from country to country and the status of a Ph.D. candidate or a Professor. Research stays for Ph.D. candidates will usually be for one month whereas research stays for professors will be for 15 days.
Inspiring surroundings, useful literature, excellent networking opportunities, well-organised campus, friendly and dedicated staff are only some of the feedbacks of the SEE | EU Cluster of Excellence Scholarship alumni.
